Salt Lake City and Snowbird Resort, Utah February 5th through 10th

| Ed's birthday weekend a couple days early. Rebecca planned a getaway with a surprise. The surprise was for Ed and Doug to go Heliskiing but due to the weather and the amount of snow falling the helicopter was unable to fly. In either case, Doug, Amie, Rebecca and myself enjoyed a weekend of skiing in fresh POW POW... Powder for those that have dirty minds its fresh snow which at times came up to our hips when skiing. Rebecca learned to ski with the assistance of Doug and Ed barking orders while Amie laughed and encouraged Rebecca that she was doing just fine. Rebecca did in fact ski on her own. Snow as abundant with snow falling at a rate of three inches per hour. Snowbird was getting dumped so bad that the only road up to the resort had to be shut down for hours in order to control avalanches in the canyon. This was truly a winter wonderland. What a great 40th present. Thank You. | |||
